Community Spirit. Community Involvement.

Pembroke's festivals have become known all over the world. Each year, thousands of people come to our city to take part in amazing events. Ultimately, the driving force to our success are the many enthusiastic volunteers and service groups that pitch in and lend a hand to create world class events. You don't have to possess any special skills and everyone is welcome.

With the formation of the Pembroke Festivals Committee, we are hoping to put the festivals into the hands of the people, empowering them to have a say in how our community comes together! Through volunteering, you can meet new people with similar interests, participate in fun activities and in many cases, gain free admittance to the festivals!

This festival is powered by our volunteers. You encourage, you support, you inspire, you make this possible! We are currently recruiting for our valued volunteer army to make this event work.

Renaissance Square is the name given to the plan to build a new Algonquin College Campus in downtown Pembroke. This exciting project will revitalize the city’s downtown.
