Daily Exhibits:
Join us in the Village and discover what life was like in the 1850's as told through daily displays, demonstrations and interactive history lessons.
Logging Life - including a Pointer Boat and Lumber Crib, built by two Algonquin College Forestry Students who worked almost two weeks on preparing the logs that have been assembled to make the logging crib. They were there under the supervision of Fred Blackstein, Tom Stephenson, Chris Ryan of Algonquin College and under the auspices of the Kiwanis Club of Pembroke. They were very pleased and honoured to be a part of the project. Special thanks to the Forestry Department at Algonquin College and to the two students - Trevor Slack and Isaac McEachern, third semester students who will be graduating in the fall. .
Life on the River Raft - Story telling and fiddling daily on the timber crib.
Military Life - Presented by CFB Petawawa Military Museum, Pembroke Armouries and Legion Branch #72.
Pioneer's Lifestyle - Presented by Champlain Trail Museum and the Pembroke Hydro Museum.
Spiritual Life - Presented by the Sisters of St. Joseph and the Gray Nuns.
Fashion Statements - Daily Fashion Show and Stroll, presented by Barbara Clouthier at the Amphitheatre, 6:00PM - 7:00PM.
Fiddling and Step Dancing Workshops - Daily from 2:00PM - 4:00PM.
The Cookhouse - Enjoy traditional slow food in the licensed Cookhouse including Cepaille, baked beans, pulled beef and tasty desserts.

Featured performances by: Cecil D'Arcy, Gillan Rutz, The Jones Gang, Mel Gardner and Friends, Buck Godin, Mickey McGivern and the Singing Swallows Square Dancing.
